About
Groundbreaking insights deserve an experience to match, which is why we partnered with Google Cloud to reimagine their 2024 Data & AI Trends report. Making Google Cloud’s in-depth data and AI trends effortless to explore was the core challenge, as these industry-shaping forecasts often feel dense or impenetrable. Our brief was to transform this extensive research into a content-first digital experience that felt accessible, engaging, and built for genuine exploration. We wanted to create a lightweight but memorable digital experience that balanced high-level takeaways with deep-dive technical details.
As the lead designer, my focus was on building a platform that distilled complex material into sharp, confident narratives. We anchored the approach in an intuitive, interactive format that allowed users to navigate the report at their own pace. To make the data feel alive, we layered the site with bold visuals and seamless animations, ensuring the transition between global trends and specific data points felt natural and exciting. I worked closely with the developers on the project to ensure the motion design didn't compromise performance, resulting in a highly optimised, scalable system designed for longevity as Google’s research evolves.
The result is a benchmark-setting interactive report that makes Google Cloud’s AI and data insights more impactful than ever before. Since launch, the platform has successfully bridged the gap between complex research and user engagement, establishing a new visual standard for how the brand presents thought leadership. By creating a cohesive and expressive digital home for this data, we ensured the journey was as inspiring as the insights themselves, proving that even the most technical information can be beautiful and intuitive when crafted with a focus on discovery.
