Loop Earplugs creates stylish, high-performance earplugs that revolutionize how we interact with sound. Their products serve vital needs—protecting concert-goers' hearing without sacrificing audio quality, and notably, earning a strong following in the neurodivergent community by helping individuals comfortably manage sensory overload.
As a Lead Designer, my goal was to translate that real-world relief into a digital space. We reimagined their product discovery journey by designing an interactive Virtual Try-On that allows users to actually "hear" the difference between earplugs before buying.
Blending sound-reactive visuals with intuitive interaction, we crafted a mobile-first journey for five different Loop products. We designed a responsive WebGL gradient that reacts to sound frequency, visually translating how each product filters or reduces noise in real time to give customers confidence in their choice.
Built directly into Loop’s Shopify ecosystem, the experience merges audio precision with digital artistry using GSAP and Three.js. We curated soundscapes for real-world use cases, turning an everyday purchase into an immersive, sensory moment. The project launched simultaneously across all global stores (US, UK, EU, and Australia).
